Hydro Turbine Rotor Shaft :

 One end of the Rotor Shaft is connected to the Rotor and the other end is fixed to the Gearbox Input/ Low Speed Shaft. The Rotor transfers the mechanical energy to drive the Gearbox, which in-turn steps up the speed to run the Generator.
